Carriage Posts Best Month in 39-year History, Announces Early Plans for 40th Anniversary

Carriage Incorporated, a high-end fifth wheel manufacturer based in Millersburg, Indiana, announced today that the best shipment month in company history has just been achieved, with the fiscal results in for the February month-end on 2/22/2008.

"In the same month that the Dow Jones average plunges and the housing market falls into a mortgage mess, we post our best month ever," said Carriage National Product Manager Andy Wesdorp, adding, "the combination of hot product, industry-first floor plans and aggressive dealers has allowed us to succeed".

Don Emahiser, Carriage Vice President of Sales and Marketing, was quick to point out that, "While good times typically can breed bad habits, we're far from resting on our laurels and already preparing for the next great thing," which he would not comment upon further other than to say, "Watch out for the next great bed/bath layout in our 40th anniversary units this summer."

To celebrate the 40th model year anniversary of Carriage products, each unit will have a medallion added to the exterior of the coach commemorating the year. "We're not only having our 2009 model year open house in Boston (June 13-17), but also a 40th birthday party celebration honoring our tradition and our future," said Emahiser.
